future living, statistics

two graphs about kids

I guess the first graph is really  more about people in their early twenties and people over 65 (as Yglesias points out, “that for all the scare stories you hear about ’socialized medicine’ or the government ‘coming between you and your doctor’ it’s not a coincidence that senior citizens are almost never uninsured”), but I do think they both suggest  how changing demographic patters will seriously affect THE WORLD OF THE FUTURE.

Via unrelated posts on Yglesias on the uninsured and changing Israeli demographics.
