Nardwuar is an incredibly likeable interviewer, who loves music and musicians in a way that very few people do. I used to know about him, then I forgot about him, then I remembered when he got a show on the greatest radio station in the world, WFMU. Pharrell is one of the guys from the Neptunes and N.E.R.D., and is moved by Nardwuar’s enthusiasm and research skills in a really charming way. Good stuff above! Also, Lady GaGa below.

I have to say – I find Nardwuar somewhat irritating (he reminds me of this fucked up kid I went to high school with) – Nevertheless, his N E R D interview is really fucking cool. I love how he nails it, and Pharrell is literally blown away.
Yeah, I tend to agree with you Stin. His persona is really really annoying, but his style is really really awesome. It’s a shame he can’t change the former now.
Once you watch a couple of his videos, the persona starts to become a secondary issue to the subjects’ amazing reactions. He brings out the best and worst in people.
