While some are enlightened others are just blathering idiots. For example, <a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2009/11/05/bicycle-defense-kit.html#comments" rel="nofollow">this post</a>, on Bicycle defense kits was assumed to be an endorsement until 50 posts later the editor who posted it pointed out that just by posting about something doesn't mean you endorse it.
